RECORD YOUR CATCH!
Ø Only paid-up members and their direct family will be eligible for claiming ERBFC records.
Ø Any record application must be submitted to the Records Officer before the elapse of 30 days of the catch or the final day of any competition entered into.
Ø Submission of records can be made at the club’s monthly meeting or via e-mail to the relevant Records Officer.
Ø Records for any specific year will run from the 1st day of January to the 31st day of December for that year. And, only these records will be in the running for any prizes that may be applicable for that specific year.
Ø Records for the club will remain on file whether it be hard or soft copy.
ERBFC will not accept any records for restricted species, undersized fish or any other fish which may not be legally caught.
Recording of catches
Ø The details of the catch will be entered on the Report Back Form (a printable copy attached hereto)
Ø The form must be completed with as much detail as possible and must preferably be signed by the angler.
Ø A photo of the angler and his catch must accompany the Report Back Form
Ø A maximum of three fish per species may be submitted by an angler for any specific outing.
Ø The only exception to this will be where a competition was entered into and the details of the catches was documented and submitted to the Records Officer, before the elapse of 30days after the final day of fishing.
It should be noted that the application for records with any other body, other than ERBFC, will remain the angler’s responsibility and ERBFC, the Records Officer and its Committee Members accepts no responsibility, in this regard.
